🍎 food for thought

small hint as to what my next YouTube video is about

Do you ever get that feeling where you wake up and it feels like you’re re-living the same routine every single day? It happens to me every now and then when I’ve settled into a good set of habits and shows me that I need to spice things up a little. I’ve also had a bit of a mental block, blur, whatever you wanna call it this past week.

A close friend told me it’s probably because I’m just overwhelmed with new ideas and projects. It’s true, I am. Luckily, I’m nowhere near burnout, but I do think this is the kind of feeling many people in their 20s feel, especially after graduating. My post-graduation blues have turned into this background feeling that comes and goes. Is that getting too deep? Anyway, I want to set some goals for the new month and the rest of the year so that I have some kind of direction and focus.

What I’ve learned 👇🏼

  • There’s a right time for everything. I haven’t mentioned this publicly, but I had a potential book opportunity with a very well known architecture institution. Yes, that one. Let’s just say I was pretty bummed when it fell through. But I’m not giving up on that goal just yet.

  • You don’t need everything figured out today.

  • Don’t forget the little guy. When I started making content, it was really just to help one person. Keeping that goal at the forefront of every single piece of content is what keeps me going.

🍗 content nuggets

This week I watched another light-hearted and beautifully filmed video by Colt Kirwan. The one thing I took away from the video was that it’s never too late to live out your childhood dreams. On a similar wavelength, this podcast episode featuring Kelly Wakasa was also a great listen. He shares a bit more about his journey and how after moving to LA, he wanted to build his own tribe. But the journey wasn’t as easy as that.

Whilst he figured out what to make content on, he realised that if he treated life like a game and crafted his own experiences, he could also live without regrets. I quite like this way of thinking, especially as I’m starting to think about where I am in my life right now and the things I’ve been putting off doing at some other time in my life.

🔥 on the back burner

I finally have some consistent content coming out on YouTube this month but in the meantime, check out my other videos on my channel. Don’t leave without subscribing of course!
